Report a bug

Did you find a bug on Ptarmigan? If so, you can report it. However, if you deliberately want to look for hidden bugs on the bot, you can read this.

Report a bug on the support server

First of all, we're sorry that you've run into a bug. We'll do our best to fix it as soon as possible. To report the bug you found, just join the support server and open a ticket:

Ticket channel

danger

Do not share the bug you found, as a malicious user could exploit it. Open a ticket on our support server to inform us of the bug's existence in a private discussion so we can fix it as soon as possible.

Bug hunting

If you want to help improve Ptarmigan, bug hunting is a way to do it. You can try to find bugs in Ptarmigan's features, on its website and dashboard, or even on this documentation. If you succeed, join the support server and open a ticket to report it to us.

Opening a ticket is important because reporting the bug in a public channel could lead to malicious users exploiting it before it's fixed.

Reward

The Bug Hunter role is given to members who report bugs to thank them for their contribution.

Beta Program

More officially, you can apply to join the Beta Program. The goal of this program is to find bugs in the latest versions so they can be fixed as quickly as possible.

The channel to apply is also on the support server:
